| Fall Foliage Bike Festival |

October 17-19 will mark the 18th year of the Shenandoah Valley Fall Foliage Bike Festival. The festival offers a fun way to take in the breathtaking views of the Staunton countryside. Gracious and friendly volunteers welcome the opportunity to share the ambiance of the Shenandoah Valley with all event attendees.
The well marked color-coded routes offer choices for all levels of cycling experience. Families with children can ride the relaxing 10 mile routes while the more ambitious can tackle the 100 mile Century route. There are also 34 and 45 mile routes for all of those in between. Activities include stops at several area attractions including Grand Caverns and Wade’s Mill, an apple dumpling social and live music at Gypsy Hill Park.

Features world-renowned artists in Baroque, Classical and Romantic music performance.
The annual August Summer Festival is broad-ranging in scope and innovative is its performance of chamber instrumental and vocal works including a fully-staged Baroque opera, Gala, Premieres by Virginia composers-in-residence as well as talented Emerging Composers, Master Classes featuring Young Artists, Outreach Concerts, and more.
Each September, the Staunton Music Festival (in cooperation with the Office of International Programs at James Madison University) offers a weekend-long celebration of the music of another country. The 2008 season features the music traditions of China and Western music reflections upon that tradition.
Additional chamber music and solo harpsichord concerts are scheduled throughout the year.
